What’s the story?

AUGUST 2022

In this edition, John shares our website remodel, his sauna project, and his upcoming annual fishing trip to Canada.

Dear Friends and Clients,

It seems that the world is full of remodeling projects and we’re excited to share that we’ve just completed one of our own. We’ve officially launched a new website!

We should be considered frequent remodelers because this is the third remodeling of our website in 5 years. Wow.

First, we went from a dinosaur-era website to a more modern and usable site.  But shortly afterward, the software “retired” and we had to go to another format. Finally, earlier this year, we realized our site could be better. So, we tore it down to the studs and rebuilt it.

We’ve enhanced all the graphics, updated the logo, and made the information easier to find. Our hope is that we now have a user-friendly, accessible, and interesting site that represents who we are as a company.

Take a visit and let us know what you think. And of course, it’s not done completely. (It is a remodeling project after all!)

My Sauna is moving forward. Slowly, but forward. I was able to sneak in a 2-day trip with Marc and my friends Mikey and Sven to do a bit of framing. At least we moved some lumber and got to work with our tools!

I am getting ready for our annual canoe trip to Canada. This is the trip where we drive 12 hours, load our gear and canoes on a float plane, and fly out to a remote lake to fish and camp. It’s great fun and we have been doing an adventure like this for almost 24 years. The quiet and remote fishing is really what we enjoy. I will show some photos next newsletter. I hope that all of you get a chance to spend some special time with your family and friends as the summer winds down. It won’t be long before ski season starts!!

Until next time,

John
